Hear the rumble of the magnificent Arenal volcano, then venture into Costa Rica's rainforest...a one-two punch that is one of our most popular vacations.

Day 1:  Upon arrival at the San Jose airport, you will be met by one of our representatives. Our rep will explain your itinerary, answer questions and provide you a packet with vouchers and information about your trip. From the airport you will be transferred to Hotel Grano de Oro.

Day 2:  Transfer to La Fortuna via InterBus (approx. 3 hours). Stay at Montaña de Fuego. 50 lovely cabins and spa with majestic views of Arenal and the surrounding mountains.

Day 3:  River Rafting on Rio Toro (all day) Ride class III and IV rapids down the Rio Toro while enjoying the beautiful nature surrounding you. Includes transportation, lunch, a bilingual guide, and all equipment.

Day 4:  Canopy Tour (half day). Take a 30-min horseback ride to the platforms deep within the rainforest canopy. From there, fly high in the trees across the zip lines, and walk through nature. Includes transportation, a bilingual guide, and all equipment. Transfer to San Jose via Interbus. Stay at Hotel Grano de Oro. This hotel occupies a quiet street in the nation’s capital of San José, close to the vibrant city center, and numerous restaurants, theatres and shops

Day 5:  Transfer to airport for your domestic flight to Palma Sur. Stay at Aguila de Osa Inn. Spacious hardwood cabins, cathedral ceilings, Italian-tiled bathrooms and spectacular Pacific views...native leather rockers on roomy front porches...Costa Rican coffee in insulated carafes delivered before dawn.

Day 6 & 7:  Dolphin Tour and Corcovado Hike or Cano Island tour on these days.

Day 8:  Fly to San Jose, transfer to hotel Grano De Oro.
