For nature and outdoor enthusiasts, students...or anyone who has ever watched National Geographic and wanted to see something so unique firsthand.  Costa Rica is an extraordinary land of bio diversity. Set at the mid point between North and South America, this country has flora, fauna and wildlife that most people only see on TV.

Day 1:  Upon arrival at the San Jose airport, you will be met by one of our representatives. Our rep will explain your itinerary, answer questions and provide you a packet with vouchers and information about your trip. From the airport you will be transferred to Hotel Bougainvillea. The views across the valley from this hillside location are wonderful and the gardens are beautifully designed and well tended. Here it is easy to forget that you are just 15 minutes from San José.

Day 2:  Ready for the beach?  After a scenic drive up and over a mountain range via a private microbus (approx. 3.5 hrs) you will arrive at the beach town of Manuel Antonio.  Check into your ocean view accommodations, Hotel La Mariposa.  Described by Conde Nast Traveler as "Eden on a ridge" this hotel sits majestically, 550 feet above the ocean. The panorama is unbelievable.

Day 3:  Manuel Antonio National Park Tour (approx. 5 hrs) One of the area's most popular tours, visitors are introduced to the most beautiful park in Costa Rica. Park entrance, snacks, beverages, and bilingual guide included.

Day 4:  Damas Island Mangrove Tour. Take a guided boat trip of the estuary through nature-rich mangrove canals.  Tour Includes a/c transportation, bilingual guide, snacks, and lunch.

Day 5:  Relax…the day is yours!  Relax on the beach or poolside at the hotel.

Day 6:  Transfer to Quepos domestic airport for your flight to Palmar Sur. From there you will be transferred to Aguila de Osa Inn. These spacious hardwood cabins feature cathedral ceilings, Italian-tiled bathrooms and spectacular Pacific views.

Day 6-9:  Enjoy Aguila de Osa's  "Whale and Dolphin Package". This includes all meals and wine with dinner, and two guided tours: Cocorvado National Park tour and Whale and Dolphin Interaction tour.  You will be amazed by your proximity to these marvelous creatures of the sea.

Day 10:  Transfer to Palmar Sur airstrip for your flight back to San Jose.  From there you'll be transferred to the International airport to await your flight back home.
