VILLA MANGO

Features: Located on the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica, just south of Dominical in the beautiful Escaleras Mountain range at an elevation of 1,200
ft. overlooking the Ocean. Villa Mango is a new 3-bedroom, 3 1/2 bath panoramic ocean-view vacation rental.

The Dominical area has a average temperature of 83F (28C) and is delightful year round. Thanks to the mountain-side 1,200 ft. elevation, guests at Villa Mango enjoy comfortable mountain breezes. Dominical is a small coastal village (pop. approx. 600). People are easy-going, and the relaxed atmosphere is contagious. There are various cozy bars and a surprising variety of casual restaurants and "sodas" (local food). Later in the night, some of these restaurants change into small-scale discos, where locals and tourists dance to Latin music.

In the past few years, a number of wonderful restaurants have opened in our area, including Thai, Italian, Continental, Indonesian, Mexican and French...all in beautiful tropical settings. Shops in the area include a gift store, clothes boutique, small grocery store, fruit stands, and a bakery. Dominical and many beautiful, secluded beaches are just a quick drive down the mountain from Casa Amigos.

We recommend driving to the villa via the mountain route, a 3.5 hour beautiful drive (on well-paved roads!) through incredible landscapes, varied micro-climates, and exquisite "above-the-clouds" mountain and ocean views. Alternatively, it is possible to drive along the coast, or to fly from San Jose to Quepos and pre-arrange to pick up a vehicle from that location. We advise renting a 4-wheel drive vehicle to allow you to explore many of the beautiful "out-of-the-way" sites in the area.

Review: With 3,000 square feet of living space on two levels, Villa Mango offers large wrap-around covered terraces, queen size Swiss orthopedic beds in each room (can be separated to singles), full kitchen, washer & dryer, color TV with DVD player and a 48 ft. long lap swimming pool.

Designed for 6 people, but comfortably accommodating 8, Villa Mango may be rented together with Casa Amigos to host up to 12 guests.
