COSTA RICA in proportion to the total size it has the largest area of national parks, a big variety of flora and fauna and very nice and peaceful people. The environment of CASAELENA is especially conducive for retreats or any other group activities where peaceful surroundings are preferred.
We are located in the heart of Costa Rica near the town San Ramón de Alajuela on the top of a beautiful mountain with a breathtaking view to the Pacific Ocean and the mountains in the south of Costa Rica. The Resort is situated on the tenth degree of latitude and 3.280 feet above sea level. This provides one of the best climates in the world with all year long average temperature of 77 º F ( 25 º C ) - a perfect place to promote or to maintain your health. Each part of the day has its special breezes and temperature, with night time bringing star studded skies and a valley full of lights.
The air is purified by 19 acres of our Resort land with hundreds of trees, exotic plants, green spaces, surrounding forests and full of birds and butterflies. The peaceful and meditative atmosphere relaxes the mind and body as gently as colors of flowers, color of the sky and the green trees. Enjoy our pure mountain spring water for drinking and bathing.
Our delicious meals include your choice of vegetarian, vegan or raw foods (fish and chicken upon request) prepared from Costa Ricas finest year-round produce. We are cooking with organically grown food. CASAELENA is the perfect place for a retreat with peace, solitude, flora and fauna where the sound of the nature sooth the mind and the body. Come for a complete break from your usual routine! Because of our central location you can plan day trips to volcanoes, hot springs, waterfalls, Canopy tours, white water rafting, bird watching, national parks to observe the large variety of the fauna and flora of Costa Rica, white sandy beaches, boat tours and much more. In our luxury hotel we have accommodations for up to 25 guests. Only a few steps away you can swim in our 79 x 20 feet indoor pool and relax in the hot tub or steam room. On our 19 acres you can walk our nature trails and experience the tranquillity amidst all the natural sounds while you breath in the pure mountain air of the eternal spring-like climate. Our unique environment is one of love and joy and we welcome each guest as being a precious and cherished individual that we feel a privilege to serve. Guests participate in twice-daily Asana classes (Yoga exercise), breathing and relaxation exercises (Pranayama). Many have even forgotten that rest and relaxation are natures way of recharging. One need not be adept in any phase of Yoga to come here. Anyone is welcome who has a sincere desire for feeling better. The Yoga classes and the chanting etc. have given the CASAELENA Retreat a strong spiritual vibration. Let us provide for you a special and memorable week-long Yoga retreat.

On the third day a daily trip to Volcan Poas and Waterfall garden and on the fifth day a daily trip of your choyce. In the free times you can enjoy the pool building with the 79x20 feet indoor pool, the hot tub and the steam room, you can leave for a hike in the rainforest or a hike with birdwatching, to a Canopy tour, to Bungee jumping, for horseback riding, for biking or you can relax in our beauty area with massages, beauty treatments, permanent make-ups or participate in an aroma therapy and much more. On the second day in the morning after breakfast the Dancing group from the University of San Ramón will dance for you in front of Casaelena typical dances of Costa Rica and on the last evening we will have a candle ligth dinner with live music.
The price for one week for one person is $ 1.250 This price includes beautiful room with private bathroom, three daily meals, fruit juices, full use of Yoga Studio, indoor pool 79 x 20 feet with lap lanes, hot tub and steam room, transportation from and to the airport, grand sunset-impressions, all the daily activities: meditation session, Yoga class and chanting, dance of the University group, two daily trips in comfortable buses, all the entrances, candle light dinner with live music and guided walks to watch the beauty of our land. Other activities like canopy tours, hiking in the rainforest, hiking with bird watching, Bungee jumping, horseback riding or other tours with our taxidrivers, also beauty treatments and massages etc. are separated charged. Your space will be reserved upon receipt of a 50% deposit in the amount of $ 625, which is 50% refundable up to 90 days prior to start date, and non-refundable after this date.
